Why vehicle photography does not scale across a dealer group
Traditional vehicle photography needs skilled people, room to frame each shot, vehicle movement, or more vendor days. Halo changes the job: a staff member follows the dots at close range while Halo builds, finishes, and sends the listing photos.
The real constraints are skill, space, and time.
Outsourcing adds a per-vehicle bill, scheduled capture days, and a wait for the finished photos. Bringing the work in-house still requires someone who can frame each shot, room to move the vehicle, and a repeatable standard. Halo captures close-range sections with about five feet of clearance.
That gets harder across multiple rooftops. A dealer group needs a photo job that different staff can complete on different vehicles and lots with the same finished result.
Change the user's job from photographer to guided observer.
Halo guides the person around the vehicle at close range and checks that the required coverage is complete. The person follows the dots. Halo builds the eight primary views and any required detail shots.
Halo finishes and sizes the photos, keeps them tied to the VIN, and sends them to the agreed dealership system. That merchandising job is the product today. Other dealership workflows come later, after they work in real use.
